Anna Hultin is an artist, teacher, and mom. After she received her BFA in drawing and art education from Colorado State University, she continued to pursue drawing, sculpture, and installation until she had her baby! Becoming a mother pushed Anna to find a more flexible medium which is when she found embroidery. She uses needle and thread to create contemporary embroideries (or thread paintings) that explore the often overlooked beauty of the subtle textures and colors of the Colorado landscape.
