Two & Don'ts to create floral arrangements
1. Choose flowers based on durability and strength

The use of fresh or preserved flowers will depend on the occasion. If the idea is to make a target or an arrangement that will be used for more than a few hours, or the next day, choose preserved flowers. Besides lasting longer, they are not dependent on factors such as weather or temperature.
2. Avoid direct light and heat

There is no worse enemy of a flower arrangement, whether fresh or preserved, than direct sunlight. In the first case, the flowers will wilt faster. In the second, the rays may fade the color of the flowers.
3. Keep fresh flowers well hydrated

Remember to keep them in water as much as possible before working with them. And use a steamer during assembly.
4. Don't use colored ribbons that are far away from your palette

It may seem a minor detail, but the ribbon with which you will tie your arrangements should have the color of the palette you have chosen, at the risk of standing out negatively.
5. Don't prepare your fresh flower arrangement too far in advance

Plan to do this as close to the time of delivery as possible, precisely to avoid damage caused by heat, sun and dehydration.
6. Do not use flowers in excess

As in many other aspects of creative work, less can be more. It is not necessary, to make a wreath, to use lots and lots of flowers. They can generate a lot of visual noise, and a minimalist touch is more elegant.
