My project for the course: Pet Portraits in Colored Pencils: Ginny the Dachshund by Marieke @vogelphoenix
This has been the project most highly rated by you in January. In it, Marieke shows the process of creating a portrait of a dachshund dog.
It's exciting, Maireke, to see how you've revisited a technique you had abandoned, achieving such incredible results. Congratulations.
If you want to learn how to make these kinds of portraits, check out the course by Camila Correa Castro: "Pet Portraits in Colored Pencils".
Chucao - Unveiling the Secrets of the Chilean Temperate Forest by Antonia Reyes Montealegre @paraiso__perdido
This project from our beloved teacher Antonia Reyes Montealegre showcases the process she followed to draw one of the most incredible birds of the Chilean temperate forests, the Chucao. If you hear it singing nearby, consider yourself lucky.
Antonia Reyes Montealegre is a wildlife illustrator. She explores her homeland and distant places, capturing wild nature stories that inspire us to reconsider our relationship with nature. You can take a look at one of her courses to learn how to paint like her: "Naturalist Bird Illustration with Watercolors."
My project for course: Vibrant Portrait Drawing with Colored Pencils por michele_marti @michele_marti
Another testament to the joy of rediscovering forgotten passions is this project. Michelle experienced something similar to Marieke. She took Gabriela Niko's course on "Drawing Striking Portraits with Colored Pencils" and became addicted not just to completing a single project with what she learned but to creating many more. We are fortunate to see her shared process for all of us to enjoy. Thank you so much, Michelle, for sharing.
In this project, Toby shows us and discusses the decisions he made to carry out this wonderful project. Undoubtedly, it's exciting to see how you undertake your project by sharing the process, the uncertainties, and the decisions you make while creating. This helps us all to learn as well. Thank you, Toby, for sharing your process.
If you're interested in this type of technique, check out Nikolas Kole's course on "Designing Fantastic Characters in Procreate", you're sure to learn something new.
