Pet Portrait Collection by Emillie Ferris (@emillieferris)
Emillie Ferris is an embroiderer inspired by nature and the seasons. For her, painting with thread is her most cherished passion and the art form she loves most. It allows creating realistic effects using a single strand of thread, a technique often known as needlepainting, threadpainting, or silk shading. She can create beautiful color gradients, magical details, and flowing stitch directions that are perfect for embroidering animals, people, flora, and fauna. She has been stitching every day since she fell in love with embroidery in 2013.
She believes that it's important, in this technological era of the world, to take the time to create something with your own two hands. It makes you feel connected and rooted to the world. When she's not embroidering, you can find her exploring her local English countryside, reading books about folklore, or making memories with friends and family.

Hechizo de primavera by Gimena Romero (@gimenaromero)
Gimena Romero takes us through a color and texture-filled challenge in her latest project, "Spring Spell". Working with a wool cloth that she confesses is quite difficult to handle. In this journey, she found herself re-embroidering the entire part of the crown of the main rose, an experience that stands out in her process photos. Despite the challenges, her love for embroidery and creation shines through her backstitch lab. "I hope you're enjoying this lab a lot. Let's embroider and be free!", says Gimena enthusiastically.
We invite you to discover this exciting project and experience the liberation that embroidery can bring. Gimena has several very interesting courses that we highly recommend. This project belongs to the course: Embroidery Technique with the Back Stitch

Ilustración bordada by Abril Millán (@cosersindedal)

We present to you the project by Abril Millán, a delicate embroidery on linen based on the illustration of her friend Mai. Despite having started 'the house by the roof', as she herself puts it, her work already displays an impressive use of techniques such as stem stitch, knot, cross stitches and others. She is delighted with her learning in the course and is eager to continue expanding her skills in embroidery. We are looking forward to seeing how her embroidery evolves!
