We put together the projects that received the most likes in February within the Domestika community
Like every month, we showcase the 10 projects that have caught the Domestika community's attention and received the most likes and appreciation. They are the final projects created by students from all the different courses on offer and are a mix of assignments suggested by teachers and personal projects. All get to fill up this space with creativity.
Among the most appreciated projects in February are illustrations and knitting pieces. Also, making a debut this month are some creative cake designers, which made it to the list with three impressive final projects.

This artist's wildlife work is inspired by her home environment in the countryside around Worcestershire, in the United Kingdom. This piece demonstrates many of the techniques Sarah teaches in her Domestika course, Artistic Watercolor Techniques for Illustrating Birds.
The same artist also showed us another piece, a lion completed in charcoal. The project includes a detailed image of the lion's mane's texture and the materials she used for the illustration. If you want to know more about how Sarah achieves these results, you can check her course Artistic Charcoal Portraiture: Creating Atmosphere.
This is the final piece that Andrea completed when she followed the course Top-Down: One-Piece Crocheted Garments, in which you learn simple patterns to create garments without the need to sew.
In this video, Domestika teacher Juanmi introduces his work as director of photography, editor, and color expert by showing us a quirky ad for a dental clinic. You can learn about the different aspects of his work in one of his Domestika courses, for example, Audiovisual Editing and Narrative for Short Films.
Here, the illustrator shows what you can achieve using the techniques he teaches in his course Digital Sketchbook: Awaken Your Creativity. In this project, you can appreciate his skill and how he managed to land jobs with clients such as Unesco, Greenpeace, the City of Madrid, and El País newspaper, among others.
Katy created this amazing cake for her niece's birthday by practicing what she learned in the course Cake Design: Modern Decorating Techniques. "I was a bit scared of carrying the cake", Katy confessed, but managed to get it to its destination, and it was very well-received. It got her to number six on this list. Congrats!
Another project from the Cake Design: Modern Decorating Techniques course, which seems to have been one of the favorites in February. This course inspired many imaginative and creative minds in the Domestika community. Are you up for it?

This ancient fountain was created by 3D modeling and texturing Paula Sánchez-Ferrero Ruiz, who also teaches the Domestika course Realistic Prop Creation for Video Games. Props, such as this fountain, are used in video game backgrounds and settings. In her project, Paula shows the same fountain in four different versions, one for each season.
