About the video: Drawing
Overview
“It is time to draw. If you are very confused by having the reference image under your work layer and it does not let you see your own drawing, you can always deactivate and see the result. If it's more comfortable for you, you can also place the reference on the split screen (search for your reference in the gallery app or ICloud Drive, open Procreate and swipe up to open the Dock, touch the app and drag it). When drawing it is important to try to distinguish the volumes and make the stroke accompany those volumes, I usually use a sinuous stroke that is combined with patterns, but you can do whatever makes you feel more comfortable. ”
In this video lesson Elena Garnu addresses the topic: Drawing, which is part of the Domestika online course: Illustrated Portraits with Procreate. Learn how to create and compose a portrait adding elements, textures, and expressiveness starting from a photo.

To do that, we'll activate Dock down here. I saved my reference in Gallery, so I'll just drag-and-drop the Gallery icon. I can adjust the size here. That's something you can do if having the photo underneath bothers you. You have several options. Choose the one...”
