“Unit 4 Illustration of a flower Next, I'm going to show you the differences between working with pencil, ink or watercolor. As an example we will use a flower. The flower I chose for this exercise is an azalea. You may have this flower in your house, but you can choose any model you like. Her first commission was a wedding invitation for some friends and since then, there have been many more, although not always related to wedding stationery. Her training in design has given an extra boost to her illustrations, enabling her to apply them in all kinds of projects.
