Guided Course: Style and Creativity on Display
“Now it's your turn to transform ideas into visual experiences. This project will guide you step by step, but the real magic comes from your imagination: you don't need to have a defined concept; just start playing with products, materials, and stories. Get inspired by the ideas below, find your own interpretation, and share your work with the community: each window is a small stage where you can express your style. 1. The product as protagonist: a narrative showcase Choose a product and imagine a short story revolving around it. Use simple structures and a few scenic elements to draw the eye to the protagonist. Project Example: A sneaker presented as the “hero” of a mini-urban adventure, with stylized building silhouettes and streets as the backdrop. 2. Nature on stage: Botanical display with sculptural details Take inspiration from the natural world to create a fresh and poetic display. You can make leaves, flowers, or organic shapes from cardboard or fabric and paint them in harmonious palettes. Project example: A perfume bottle in the center of a surreal garden with giant paper flowers and golden reflections. 3. Theatrical geometries: games of shapes and colors Experiment with boxes, panels, and geometric silhouettes to create a dynamic space. The contrast between simple lines and the product will make the scene modern and captivating. Project example: A bag displayed within a composition of colored cubes and metal panels that create depth. 4. Imagined anatomies: impactful displays Get inspired by the body's shapes and create abstract sculptural elements that recall organs, veins, or lungs. The result will be striking and theatrical, perfect for a bold product. Project Example: A pair of glasses placed inside an abstract sculpture inspired by an arterial system, painted in red and black for dramatic effect. 5. Mini-conceptual showcase: from sketch to mockup Design a small-scale window display as a complete exercise: define the product, tell its story, plan the materials, and build a three-dimensional model that summarizes your concept. Project Example: A miniature box housing a handcrafted lamp, surrounded by silhouettes of light rays painted in yellow and silver. Every project is an opportunity to experiment and surprise: play with simple materials, transform the space into a narrative, and let your product take center stage. Aim not for perfection, but for emotion: a window display is an invitation to dream, and your design can be the spark that captures the eye and ignites the imagination.”
