“Influences In this lesson, I'd like to talk about my influences and inspiration. I have a passion for classic calligraphy, classical Japanese literature and poetry. Also, I like Japonisme-influenced art antique kimonos and the art of Taisho. I'm inspired, as well, by everyday life, living words, sounds and letters, colors, lines, and patterns.
