“In this lesson I'm going to talk about how less can be more when it comes to our drawings. I've got an example here of one of my own illustrations and you can see I've quite heavily contrasted the light and the dark so much so that the white sections of this illustration don't have any graphite on them at all really. I think it illustrates well how our brains can fill in what has been left out and I feel that adds something special to our drawings when you have the power to suggest what's there without actually including it.
