“Preparing Materials In this lesson I will show you how to prepare your materials and your workspace to get ready to tuft your final project. So the first thing I'm going to show you is how to prepare your yarn for tufting. So here I have a yarn swift and a yarn winder. So what we're going to do is take our skeins, unravel them, put them under the yarn swift, and then wind them into cakes using the yarn winder.
