“Here's my finished work and there are certain things that I like about it that I think were successful and that worked. I was trying to achieve a certain amount of animation and whimsy as well as it being a piece that's pleasing or nice to look at as well as representing a bit of nature and being a nice piece to look at. What I do like about it is the energy that it has. The flower stem and the buds go to the right and they're tilted. Nothing is straight. I don't like straight angles. I like curved pieces and parts of sculptures that makes it that much more organic looking versus mechanical...”
