“I always begin my process by creating rough sketches or thumbnails. These are idea sketches only and something that I do quite quickly and I don't spend a lot of time on, but I am very aware of how I want things to look and the type of energy that they want to convey, so this is my process. I often start by creating thumbnail sketches. Sometimes I do three, sometimes just two or one, sometimes a dozen, but it just kind of depends on what vision I have in mind.
