I am primarily self-taught, so there isn't a formal way to create a paper sculpture, but I hope I have given you some valuable tools to get you started. I encourage you to experiment, discover new techniques, and find tools you can call your own. Remember to use your whole arm and follow your elbow when cutting with the X-Acto knife. This will allow you to make even more minor cuts. These are the steps I have performed on my project and would like to see reflected in yours: 1 - Choose an idea or concept and research images online, or, if possible, go out and photograph the subject yourself.
