“We arrive at Unit 3 which is the unit of Editorial Production. In this first lesson we are going to see an approximation to the establishment of timelines. In this scheme we see how we can plan or plan a writing process of a simple book of 32 pages. Each of the units is a unit of time. May be days, may be weeks, may be months. John Naranjo has been involved in the publishing world for more than 25 years in all its dimensions, from the printing workshop to the acquisition and sale of international rights. Graduated in Graphic Design at the National University of Colombia, John began his career as a desktop editor at the magazine El Malpensante in Bogotá (Colombia) and then made the leap to creative editor at the El Tiempo Publishing House, where he complemented his design knowledge with legal and financial aspects of large publishing projects.
In 2010 he founded, together with his wife Carolina Rey, Rey Naranjo publishing house, where they have produced more than 70 titles of children's literature, youth, comics, fiction and non-fiction, having received awards in Europe and Latin America.
