“I think the design has an overall similar feel to the hero without being too too similar. Something I like to do when creating coordinates is create the pattern using a neutral color and only one other color. So in this example I used the cream and the blue. Because of the monochromatic color scheme I will easily be able to recolor the design to create a red version, a pink version, and so on. After creating the coordinates in every color I had the idea to see what the design would look like without a stripe and reversing the color palette so the motifs are cream and there is a colored back...”
