“In this lesson, I'm going to tell you about some of the artists and artistic movements that have had the biggest impact on my work. One of my biggest influences is William Morris. He was an artist, designer, writer, and really a pioneer of the arts and crafts movement, which took place from about 1880 to 1920. This is one of my favorite William Morris books. What I like most about his work is how densely packed the layouts are and how there are so many motifs. A lot of the patterns have intricate layouts with winding motifs, and there's just really a lot to look at. He often uses very compl...”
