Smithe
A course by Smithe
Smithe is a Mexican street artist, illustrator, and designer who has been honing his style and perfecting the narrative of his images for more than a decade, alongside his artistic and creative work for the fashion brand Tony Delfino.
Influenced by Japanese anime, the graphic style of the '50s, and science fiction movies, at the age of 13 he started graffitiing for fun. Particularly drawn to the fine arts, Smithe has constantly reinvented his own self-taught and ever-evolving style and in recent years has dealt with many themes in his work, such as existentialism, the individuality of human beings, and the machine within.
Smithe has exhibited his work in galleries in Mexico, the United States, Germany, and England. His murals can also be found in those countries as well as in Spain and Belgium.
