“ Preparing for Sewing As we start working, I'll work till I get roughly into the middle and then I'll flip it and start from the other edge. That way, when I get more into the middle of the line here, which will be on the bottom of the tote bag, it's highly unlikely that my holes will line up perfectly when they meet from both ends. I'll leave a bit of space in the middle of the row, so I can finesse the positioning if I need to. Sometimes, it works. About 25% of the time I'm surprised that it works perfectly.
