“ Wet Molding the End Panels In this lesson, we'll learn a new skill. We'll learn how to wet mold the edges of the end panels. You can't do this with other kinds of leather. This is a lovely quality of this natural vegetable-tanned leather. We can soak it in water, get it nice and wet and soft, and we can then bend it into the shape we need it to be. Looking at this tote bag here, the end panels are inset here. You can see how they sit inside this cut edge. We need to bend that little rim around it first.
