About the final project for: Digital 3D Lettering with Illustrated Elements

Digital 3D Lettering with Illustrated Elements

“Congratulations! You have reached the end of this Domestika course. I hope you've enjoyed exploring the world of 3D illustration, typography, and lettering. Thank you so much for joining me in this course; it’s been an honor to share my techniques with you. Now, before we end, I’d like to remind you of some of the most important steps we took throughout the course and that you should remember when you start doing your final project:
Select a Word Choose a word, taking advantage of figurative language. Look for resources that can make your piece more musical and visually attractive.

Start Sketching Sketch it until you feel it is balanced and well-composed. Take time to draw over the previous sketch as often as you need. This step never comes right on the first try.
Continue with the Vectorization Vectorize it and bring it into 3D—get a tight, well-built vector, so the work in Cinema 4D is smooth.
Move On to the Modeling Process Model it, making sure the piece has no intersections and that all elements form a balanced composition. Then, add lights to give it volume and textures to bring it to life.
Finalize Your Piece Render your piece and add the final touches in Photoshop. Make your piece looks its best, adding production value with simple techniques.
And that's all! Thank you so much for taking part. I can't wait to see your project! You can share your project with all of us by clicking on "Create your project." Remember to share both the final result and the steps that have led you to it. It would be great if you showed a picture of each step and added a brief explanation about what you have done in each one. I will try my best to engage with the forum as much as possible. If you have any questions, be sure to ask them! I will reply as soon as I can, but in the meantime, I encourage you to interact with each other. Communication fuels creativity. So, don't be afraid to reach out and collaborate with others. But most of all, have fun! See you in the forum!

“Final Project Thank you so much for taking my course. I hope you enjoyed learning to bring a lettering-based illustrative 3D world into reality. These are the steps to follow, but take the time you need to work on it until it feels good. Enjoy the process. I still learn new 3D tricks almost every day by working on them. When I want to do something and I don't know how, I have to figure it out. Sometimes, I make a mistake that leads to something unexpected, and I dive headfirst into it. Learning 3D is exciting because there are so many possibilities, and they grow as we learn. Make sure the ...”
