“ Scanning and Cleaning Up Photos Now if you notice, these darks and lights are not as consistent as I'd like them to be. I want all this to be more pure black and all this to be pure white with these eraser marks disappearing. In order to do that, now that I've got that scene cleaned up, I'll select all three of these layers, the two scanning layers and the scene layer, and merge them together. Now I have that one layer that I can mess around with as I please. Actually, I'll duplicate that layer... just to have a copy in case I accidentally screw anything. I can always go back to this orig...”
