“ Materials and Tools In the last lesson, we discussed my artistic influences. Now, we'll discuss the materials and tools I use to make comic books. In this course, I'll show you how to draw an action scene for a comic book of two pages. It's important to go over the materials and tools that I use to do that. I like to draw on this 11 × 17 Strathmore Bristol board, as it's a nice thick artistic paper. It feels good to draw on and it's the same proportions as a comic book page, but it's 150% bigger. You can draw a lot of good detail on there and make it look as nice as you want, but it shrin...”
