“ Gestural Watercolor In this lesson, we'll create a gestural watercolor to highlight the main areas of the piece and show some mood through color. Before we do that, we have to tape our paper down to our board to keep the surface very flat so watercolor doesn't pool up in any areas of the paper. For the masking tape, you can use painter's tape from the hardware store. This is regular masking tape I got from a convenience store. You can also use washi tape if you have it. Anything that won't leave a residue on your paper when you lift it up. I'm leaving about a 0.25-inch or a 0.5-cm border ...”
