“In this lesson, I'm going to show you how some of my drawing materials react when water is applied to them. Water-soluble means that when you apply water to a mark on your paper, the mark will soften and dissolve in the water. Sometimes the pigments will separate and create a beautiful uneven tone that I really enjoy in my work. Sometimes they just soften like a watercolor effect.
