Terrific explanations of which colors to use and why. Also, very detailed description of which brushes to use for various elements of the painting. I love that she incorporates multiple tools to sculpt the painting into a very pleasing whole. Highly recommend this course.

Great course, learning the order of using mixed media for me is very helpful and well explained.

I enjoyed learning the method of pushing the background. Great techniques to separate the foreground from the background with different materials. Very informative. I would recommend.

I really enjoyed this course from Eleanor. She takes you through her drawing method in an easily accessible way. The demo piece includes basic perspective and a limited but interesting colour palette.

This course was great fun, and i thought the use of a reference video was brilliant. Really confronting the challenges of sketching movement and change. Also, very fun to see an experienced artist take a fairly plain view and turn it into something bright and free. I already incorporated some of these skills into my own urban sketching. Thanks!

Un cours très agréable en anglais avec un rythme très doux. On y apprend des astuces pour capturer l'instant d'une scène de rue ou d'un paysage mais également comment faire connaitre son travail en le publiant sur les réseaux sociaux. Par ailleurs, j'ai découvert le travail d'Eléanor qui est très inspirant.

Such a great course. Really got me wanting to get out and start sketching out more.

I've been painting with mainly watercolor/gouache/digitally and doing urban sketching for a few years. I follow Eleanor (herbcoil on instagram) and I always wondered about how she did it. This course is so nice and relaxed and explains her way of working and thinking so well. It is great! I am now ready to try some new materials (waterproof markers are new to me) and her way of building up a sketch. Amazing class.
