This was a very good course. Everything was very well explained and easy to follow. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. And it was a pleasure to listen to Eleanor. I highly recommend it!

I really enjoyed this course from Eleanor. She takes you through her drawing method in an easily accessible way. The demo piece includes basic perspective and a limited but interesting colour palette.

I have been admiring Eleanor's art for quite some time and I am so happy to be able to get a closer look at her process. This has supassed all my expectations and has given me a lot of input for my own work. Thank you so much!

This course was great fun, and i thought the use of a reference video was brilliant. Really confronting the challenges of sketching movement and change. Also, very fun to see an experienced artist take a fairly plain view and turn it into something bright and free. I already incorporated some of these skills into my own urban sketching. Thanks!

Un cours très agréable en anglais avec un rythme très doux. On y apprend des astuces pour capturer l'instant d'une scène de rue ou d'un paysage mais également comment faire connaitre son travail en le publiant sur les réseaux sociaux. Par ailleurs, j'ai découvert le travail d'Eléanor qui est très inspirant.

Such a great course. Really got me wanting to get out and start sketching out more.

I've been painting with mainly watercolor/gouache/digitally and doing urban sketching for a few years. I follow Eleanor (herbcoil on instagram) and I always wondered about how she did it. This course is so nice and relaxed and explains her way of working and thinking so well. It is great! I am now ready to try some new materials (waterproof markers are new to me) and her way of building up a sketch. Amazing class.

The content is beautifully put together and Eleanor has explained the reason behind the choices she makes at every step. It is a well paced, in depth course for anyone interested in mixed media and urban sketching.

Eleanor's course is well-organized. She likes to use lots of different media, but she introduces each type a step at a time. Her usage is not random -- she explains how each choice of medium contributes to the vibrancy of the finished work. I especially appreciate her intuitive yet practical approach to perspective, explained simply: Don't be afraid of architecture! What a relief -- you DON'T have to know 2-point, 3-point, etc. perspective to draw beautiful, expressive buildings!

I've been following Eleanor Doughty on Instagram for several years, I have several of her pieces hanging on my walls, and I was really looking forward to seeing the tools and techniques for her beautiful artwork. I loved getting this insight into her process and the artists who have helped inspire her work. I highly recommend this course.
