This is a great course, informative and well presented. I learned new techniques and got inspired to go out and sketch. Great for beginners to learn how to build the sketch. I loved the mixed media approach.

Wonderful course, Eleanor gives a lot of information. I like it that this is mixed media urban sketching, not just the traditional ink and watercolor. I now used a lot of tools that normally remain untouched. I like it how she explains how to sketch cars, of which I have always been a bit afraid (to sketch them), but her method is easy and even adds movement to the sketch.

I've been involved with Urban Sketching for 12 years and have sketched with Eleanor in Seattle! I had intended to take her workshop when she offered it locally but the pandemic shut all our workshops down. So this was a great way to learn from her. Even though I've been at this for years, I got some excellent ideas about materials and interpretations from this course! The concept of eye level perspective was eye opening. I'd never heard it explained that way.

I have been following many classes on Domestika and they are all great. Eleanor is a really good teacher, she explains well and makes us want to go out there and sketch. I really hope she teaches another class on Domestika, one isn’t enough ;)

I loved this course! All the tips Eleanor shares are really useful, from how to measure the thumbnails and a proper scale leading to the final sketch , to how to deal with a scene that has so much moment from people and cars passing by! The way she explain her process is really easy to follow and inspiring. Totally recommend this course for anyone who wants to start using mixed media and have fun doing urban sketching

The course was interesting and very educational! Eleanor gave many good tips. Project was a lot of fun to do.

I learned very much from what Eleanor had to say about her process.
As far as the technical part- the filming and background music, there are serious issues that detract from the content, and make the course difficult to follow.
Also switching back and forth from an oblique to a frontal view disturbs concentration.
The best way to film this is from an overhead camera.
Also, I found the music to be very annoying and got in the way of what the presenter was trying to say.

Muy buen curso, no sólo por lo didáctica que es Eleanor, sino también por los enfoques que plantea y los aportes que da en los recursos también.
