“Construction of Shadows We're at the construction of shadows. In this lesson we will paint the middle tonal values, which in our palette of tonal value would correspond to values five and six, approximately. If you notice, in our previous lesson we painted light tonal values, ranging from nine to ten, where the sheet of paper is pure, and certain variations of five and six in the back and in the front.
