“Construction of Lights In this lesson we will develop our final painting, specifically the construction of the lights, which will be the highest values within our painting. As we have already seen, we will use the same triad that we have developed, but now in the final project, using all the light concepts and taking all of this to a much higher level of detail. The paper I'm using is a 300 gram paper of 100% coarse-grain cotton. The coarse grain lets me add more texture to the watercolor, and especially in the pigments that are much more granular.
