“Promoting your work is a huge part of being an illustrator. In this lesson, I'm going to show you how to do that. When I got my first commission, I was posting all my stuff in Tumblr and Flickr. Those platforms are no longer relevant, but nowadays, Instagram is. Having a presence in Instagram is huge, and as an art director, most of the people I commission. I like to keep my account separate, so I have an account just for my work and a personal account. I highly recommend doing that, since art directors may want to follow your work, but not your personal life. It's OK to post pictures here ...”
