In this lesson, we will talk about how you make that design a reality a.k.a. it's time for quilt math. One thing to keep in mind when you start thinking about how much fabric to buy and how you will construct your quilt is that you need to factor in your seam allowance. You can't take your design and be like, "That rectangle is 2 × 9 inches and that's what I will cut." You have to factor in 0.25 inches around all four sides of the piece to get your unfinished dim...”
