“In this lesson we're going to talk about the importance of geometric shapes and balance in logo design. Generally there are two types of shapes, organic and geometric. Organic shapes are found in nature, they have very uneven edges, they're often asymmetrical. When I refer to geometric shapes, I mean shapes like triangle, rectangle, ellipsis and circle. Unlike organic shapes, geometric shapes are universal and more concrete and therefore there's less of a risk of double interpretation of the shape.
