“From Sketch to Ink Our Drawings In this lesson, we’ll start to use ink to add information about tone in order to add volume to our plant. To ink it, we’ll use a calibrated marker. We’ll start with a 005, and, if we need to emphasize something, we can use a slightly thicker one. I usually use the thinnest one to start. First we’ll ink in the whole figs, which are the simplest. The volume is a bit tricky because they're round, so we’ll try to use tone to create that illusion of turning the circle we drew more into a sphere than a flat circle. It was in architecture school that he began drawing in his notebook, trying to understand the proportions and material quality of buildings that he found interesting. Gradually, these notebooks became an inseparable element of his travels and his architectural work.
In 2018, he started an art project called ""One Day One Drawing"" in which he depicts his surroundings, family, and concerns on a daily basis. He has also created book covers for the publishing house Planeta, Spain and for Taller Talante, Colombia.
