“ Adding Hand Lettering In this lesson, we'll take our edited image and add hand lettering so it could be used as a postcard or greetings card. I often add hand lettering to my work and I tend to do the lettering separately. Then we can play around with the design in Photoshop. I imagine for me and most people, hand lettering directly on the original painting would be scary. I like to letter using Indian ink, a paintbrush and plain old printer paper. Then, I can have a go writing the word or phrase a few times. Don't feel intimidated if you've never done hand lettering. You can use a paintb...”

She’s also written multiple books, The Joy of Watercolor, Getting Started with Gouache, Slow Travel Journal: The Small Delights of Going Away, and Watercolor Life. Emma has taught hundreds of people how to paint through her workshops and aims to bring joy to people’s lives through her illustrations that are filled with color and texture.
