“Right, now I'm going to start painting some individual leaves on the vines and then I'm going to build up some denser areas around here. So I'm going to use my mid-green first. and I'm going to paint kind of little round leaves and just looking at sort of how they're arranged on the vine. So this is quite similar to a technique we practiced right at the beginning, creating these lovely rounded shapes using your brush. So just dabbing the brush down and lifting it straight up. So the nice thing is it's really quick, which is good because we've got lots and lots of leaves to paint. You really...”

She’s also written multiple books, The Joy of Watercolor, Getting Started with Gouache, Slow Travel Journal: The Small Delights of Going Away, and Watercolor Life. Emma has taught hundreds of people how to paint through her workshops and aims to bring joy to people’s lives through her illustrations that are filled with color and texture.
