She studied architecture at university, but gradually discovered her passion for handicrafts and began to explore the art of amigurumi. Ilaria spent several years living in London where she had the opportunity to work with textile artists as well as in a yarn store. She has published several books and currently collaborates with business and publishers as a freelance designer.
