“Texture and Shadows We have started our texture. I've started from the center and moved outward. I want to quickly address a problem that you might come across if you're working at high heat like how filling in requires. As you burn over time, your tip will start building up carbon. This happens because the tool is very hot. You're burning wood, so that residue builds up on the tip. You can clean this. I'd recommend doing this once every 45 minutes or if your tip starts to drag, or doesn't produce enough heat while drawing, it's time to stop, turn off your tool and start cleaning it. We do ...”
