“How to Position Your Drape Now, I'll show you where to place your fabric based on the design you want to drape. In front of me, I have my calico, which I'll be using for my draping. It's also handy at this point to have a few pins set aside for when we place the fabric on the mannequin. I've left the straight of grain and the selvage edge down the side of my fabric so that I can see which part of the fabric I need to use and where I need to use it.
