“ Knotting the Wall Planter Base Now that we have our dyed string, we'll start actually knotting the piece. I have all the materials on the table, my dyed string, my plain natural string that I'll use for the center stripe, my skeleton rope, my pot, which I'll go ahead and move over here, and all the tapes and scissors that I'll need. I'll start knotting on the frame with one skeleton row at a time with my clove hitch not.
