“ It's Dye Time In the last lesson, we measured and cut our string. In this lesson, I'll walk you through my special dyeing technique. On the table, we have everything I'll be using to dye today. We have the string that we just cut, my actual dye materials, my heating source, which is just an electrical, portable stove top, two metal pans for the water, some gloves to keep your fingers nice and clean, salt to use as a mordant, and I like to use a slotted spoon to mix things around.
