The first book I brought in is of Kay Nielsen's, an illustrator who worked in the early 1900s, Art Deco, Art Nouveau. The reason I brought this book in is that he touches on some lessons I'll share with you today, one of which is the strength and shapes of silhouettes as it relates to character building.
