“The Backgrounds In this lesson I'll explain how to make the backgrounds. We have this body that we have done in pencil, with many different colors. In a certain way there is a bit of a chromatic chaos. What the backgrounds do is anchor this character and give it prominence. First we are going to use the temperas, we are going to use temperas or gouaches to give a first layer to then finish them off with the pencils we've been using. Why do we use temperas?
