“So here is the almost finished drawing, and now I'm going to keep working on it a little bit to finish the shoes. And remember when you're drawing shoes that they are made out of a soft material sometimes, like with leather boots. So there will also be some folds on the shoes as well, just like with the clothes. And in order to draw all the straight lines of the chair, I'm simply drawing a line and then not lifting my pencil from the tablet, which creates a perfectly straight line. Later, she worked as an assistant character designer at an animation studio.
Since then Magdalina has continued to work in the animation industry as well as making her own online tutorials about drawing and character design. She has worked for clients including DreamWorks TV, Spin Master, and 3dtotal, and on projects such as the character design book Heroines, and the short film Goodbye Mr.Octopus, which was presented at the Venice Film Festival.
