“So for this character I am not focusing too much on the body shape, But instead I'm going to make the silhouette a little bit more different using the clothes. So I have a really big t-shirt. And in order to make the design a little bit stronger, I'm going to make the shape of the t-shirt more angular and simplified. So I'm not focusing too much on the clothing folds and how the fabric is wrinkling. I'm keeping the shape pretty simple, like a big rectangle. And the same goes for the sleeves as well. Since then Magdalina has continued to work in the animation industry as well as making her own online tutorials about drawing and character design. She has worked for clients including DreamWorks TV, Spin Master, and 3dtotal, and on projects such as the character design book Heroines, and the short film Goodbye Mr.Octopus, which was presented at the Venice Film Festival.
