About the final project for: Introduction to Gold Embroidery

Brooches embroidered in gold

“I welcome you to the "Final Project" section! After all the efforts you have made during the course, it is time to share your result with the world. In order to show you all the steps of your creative process, I will show you how to structure your final project. First, choose the subject you want to embroider. Once you've done this, draw it on a piece of paper and show your sketch.

Then, transfer the design to a piece of felt and place it on the stand.
Adjust the batting and sew it securely to the felt. This will be the basis of your work.
You can finally start embroidering your subject and show the community the first results!
Now, embroider the secondary part of your subject and share your progress.
Now all you have to do is decorate your patch and add the latest details.
Detach your work from the backing, refine it and decide whether to use it as a patch or convert it into a pin. Either way, show your end result!
I can't wait to see your patch in all its glory! Don't forget to leave feedback to other people who have taken the course. I'll try to be as present as possible in the forum too to be able to give you some advice and get to know each other better, but be patient if it takes me some time to do it. Thanks again for taking my course, I hope you enjoyed it! Soon!”

By patiently practicing the techniques I have taught you, slowly but steadily, you will be able to create the objects you want. As I told you, the important thing in handicrafts is to practice a lot with patience and precision. When you make your final project, first of all, don't underestimate the importance of padding because it determines the final result of your patch. Visualiz...”
