A course by Isabel Sánchez
Isabel Sanchéz has dedicated herself to the fashion world for over 40 years. Since the late '80s she has worked alongside and collaborated with some of Spain's most renowned designers like Devota & Lomba, Jesús del Pozo, and Agatha Ruiz de la Prada.
She began combining her design studio collaborations with teaching in 1999, and has since worked at the University of Navarra, the European University of Madrid, and the IED (Istituto Europeo di Design), to name just a few, giving classes on the technical side of dressmaking, pattern design, and draping.
In 2011, she published the book Little Black Dress, which was translated into several languages. The same year, she opened her studio, Laboratorio de Proyectos, where she works on runway collections and any other project requiring the study of fabric volume and behavior.
