“Modeling the hat In this lesson we'll continue modeling the head and we'll start modeling the hat. We still have a long way to go with the head, but let's start building the hat to have a reference regarding shapes and proportions of the head in general. For that we will extract from the skull a very basic shape with Extract. I have to mask the area to be extracted following the shape that the hat will cover. Here I don't need precision or definition in the base mesh. That is enough, so, let's go to SubTool, Extract and we are going to test with a thickness of zero. We see that it extracts ...”
