“Using Illustrator and a Plotter Now that you know how to draw flat shapes, let's learn how to draw the templates for 3D shapes, starting with a cube. To draw the cube, first decide the size you want it to be and then, select the Rectangle tool. I'll make mine of 6 cm by 6 cm on every face, so I'll double-click 60 mm by 60 mm. It gives me one face.
