“Polishing and Hanging In our last lesson, we applied the copper patina, so now our piece is stained completely copper across the metal. In this lesson, we'll polish it so that it's nice and shiny. I'll go ahead and open up my wax here, and for this wax, you need to use just a bit of water and a microfiber cloth that I have here. I'll go ahead and dab my cloth into this water and then get some wax on here. I'm making that circular motion to get some wax on the cloth and I'll go ahead and put that along all of the solder lines. Go ahead and get a bit more and keep going until all the lines ar...”

Molly Jackson is a self-taught American stained-glass artist and founder of Cedar+Spruce Studios, which opened its virtual doors in 2016. Her creative journey in the world of stained glass art began in high school at the age of 17. She credits an inspiring art teacher who dug up supplies from the art closet, and together, the two learned the basics of glass cutting and soldering.
Molly later went on to study speech language pathology at university, but in searching for a creative outlet, she rediscovered her passion for stained glass. After years of patience, determination, and willingness to learn from her mistakes, she went on to become a full-time stained-glass artist and Cedar+Spruce Studios has gone on to release pieces that regularly sell out.
