“Congratulations! We have now reached the end of this course. Thank you so much for participating! Before we say goodbye now, let me quickly remind you of the necessary steps that you'll want to take to create a beautiful stained glass piece. First, pull from your personal sources of inspiration to design your piece. Choose your glass and trace your design onto the glass. Once this is done, it's time to use hand tools to score and cut your glass. Then use a glass grinder to smooth out each piece. Once you're done, don't forget to completely clean each piece of glass. Place your botanicals and use copper foil tape to seal the edges of each piece.

“Final Project We made it to the end of the course. I've had a great time sharing about myself and what inspires me. Molly Jackson
A course by Molly Jackson
Molly Jackson is a self-taught American stained-glass artist and founder of Cedar+Spruce Studios, which opened its virtual doors in 2016. Her creative journey in the world of stained glass art began in high school at the age of 17. She credits an inspiring art teacher who dug up supplies from the art closet, and together, the two learned the basics of glass cutting and soldering.
Molly later went on to study speech language pathology at university, but in searching for a creative outlet, she rediscovered her passion for stained glass. After years of patience, determination, and willingness to learn from her mistakes, she went on to become a full-time stained-glass artist and Cedar+Spruce Studios has gone on to release pieces that regularly sell out.
